On a windy, cold March day in Boston hundreds of people gathered on the Common to protest the scientific funding freeze which has been ongoing in the federal government. Many professors, technicians and advocates got up to speak about how their work has shaped our modern society.
I personally attended after being made aware of this protest by some good friends who rely almost entirely on NOAA funding who are scared that their work will not be able to continue. I hope you find this concerning as well. Please speak to your representatives about the importance of science funding.
